Pictured is a statue of Statue of St. Lutgardis on Charles Bridge, Prague, Czech Republic. Possibly the most valuable piece of art on the bridge, the statue of St. Lutgardis was sculpted by Matthias Braun in 1710 as a commission from Evžen Tyttl, the abbot of the Cistercian monastery in Plasy. St. Lutgardis also spelled Lutdarde is the patron saint of the blind and physically disabled, as she was blind the last eleven years of her life.
