| Luigi Negrelli was an Italian engineer born in Fiera di Primiero. A railway pioneer and civil engineer of world standing, he is best known for having drawn up the project for the construction of the Suez Canal. Fiera di Primiero, La Fiera in fieracolo dialect, already an autonomous municipality until 31 December 2015, is one of the five hamlets, as well as the municipal seat, of the municipality of Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, in the autonomous province of Trento in Trentino-Alto Adige. Located at the bottom of the Bedole mountain and the Pale di San Martino mountain chain, Fiera di Primiero is a popular holiday resort throughout the entire year. |
