| This star-shaped lagoon is one of the beautiful views of Bukit Bintang. The lagoon is surrounded by karst rocks that are hundreds of millions of years old. The land area is covered with tropical rainforest plants with dozens of endemic fauna and flora typical of Papua and in its waters there are dozens of rare fish species with a variety of beautiful and healthy coral reefs. Endemic fauna in this archipelago include birds of paradise, King of Saxony, Papuan Hornbill, Victoria Crowned Pigeon, and others. This area is part of the Raja Ampat Geopark which in 2023 was designated as a UNESCO Global Geopark. |
