In the Dutch `Staelduinse` forest, in Hoek van Holland and close to the North Sea, many bunkers from WW2 can still be viewed. For several years they have been closed for safety, but the bunkers with their meter-thick walls that were once part of the Atlantic Wall line of defense are still there. Some overgrown.
