Spetchley House, a Palladian country mansion house designed by the architect John Tasker and built in 1811. The house stands on the site of the original Tudor house that was purchased by the Berkeley family in 1606 and has remained in their hands ever since. The lake was created in 1834. The house is in the grounds of Spetchley Park located near the city of Worcester, England. |
