| This is a Winter picture of the Southeast View of the Field Museum of Natural History while snow falls, located on the Museum Campus Of Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. This structure replaced the original museum that was build in 1893 for he Columbian World Exposition. This example of Classical Revival architecture, it was designed by William Pierce Anderson, it was built in 1921. This building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 5, 1975. |
