The South American green vine snake (Oxybelis fulgidus) is a long (2 meter 6.5 Ft),slender, sight hunter. They observe and watch every move of prey and potential predator and can move at high speed once they have their prey in sight. These snakes are rear-fanged venomous, due to their size they can produce high quantities of venom. Recent studies (Silva 2019) shows that these snakes produce their own venom called fulgimotoxon and should be handled with care.
