The fortress Sokolac is located on the left bank of Una river, three kilometers upstream of the town of Bihać, on a steep limestone tomb, from where there is a  beautiful view of the vivid landscape. The hill on which the fort is built represents the eastern end of the hill Debeljača. The fortress is located about 60 meters from the last house in the same town.
