This historic Italianate Revival style house was built in 1926, originally for Anthony Lanza, a native of Italy, who owned the Lanza Wine Company in North Beach. The most famous owners, for who the house is now known, are Stanley and Eleanor Sinton. Eleanor is famous not just for coming from a very famous Jewish family, whose family goes back to the Gold Rush, but for being one of California's first female Abstract Expressionists. She would go on to also do collages and assemblages. As seen 10 December 2024.
