Details of the lion guardian sculpture at the corner of the Shwezigon Pagoda, Nyaung U village, Bagan, Myanmar. Shwezigon Pagoda is a Buddhist temple ubicated in Nyaung U village, near Bagan. It is a prototype of a burmese stupas and consist of a circular gold leaf gilded stupa surrounded by smaller temple and shrines. The construction was completed in 1102 AD |
