Oji Shrine is a shrine located in Oji Honmachi, Kita Ward, Tokyo, Japan. The date of establishment is unknown. During the Kohei era (1058 - 1065) of the Heian period, Minamoto no Yoshiie, who was on a conquest of Oshu, practiced the golden ring Buddha in this area and dedicated the armor on the day of his triumphal return. |
