Poor girl (Aniqa Karim (nickname: Hakima)) from Upper Shimshal, village (5200m) keeping a baby goat in his arms. Gilgit, Pakistan. Hakima lives with her grandmother in the middle of a beautiful landscape but with the minimum necessary for existence. Weather is difficult even in summer time when snows can reach 1m in height . They wake up in the morning at 5 am and leads the animals to pasture away from there houses in places with greenery. Live in small houses built of stone and lined with dried dung. They use dried dung for fire and eat what animals offer them.
