The Volkswagen T-Roc is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by German automaker Volkswagen. The second-generation T-Roc is built on the MQB Evo platform, which it shares with the Golf Mk8.5. The production version was officially presented on 27 August 2025. At launch there will be just one powertrain available but with two different power outputs. The 1.5-litre eTSI mild hybrid setup can be had with 114bhp or 148bhp. Both are front-wheel drive and get a seven-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox. Two full hybrids will follow with more electrical assistance, while another range-topping T-Roc R is also in the works.
