The waterfall of the Seven Springs is located between Lake Bolboci and Lake Scropoasa, in Bucegi mountains, in the Ialomita valley. The waterfall of the Seven Springs is a 10-minute walk through the forest from the Scropoasa lake dam. The landscape is wonderful, and the water flowing on the rock gushes from the bowels of the mountains. Lake Scropoasa is located in the Bucegi Mountains, in the valley of the Ialomita River. It is an artificial dam lake built in 1929 for hydropower purposes. The lake is located at an altitude of 1,197 m, maximum depth 15 m and occupies an area of 5.7 ha. The lake stretches between the localities of Scropoasa and Dobresti, for a length of 2.5 km and supplies the Dobresti hydropower plant built in 1936. Nearby, there is the Scropoasa cottage. Lake Scropoasa is currently also used for recreation and is one of the most important tourist attractions in the historical region of Muntenia.
