Schaueria flavicoma(Justicia croceochlamys Leonard) is an evergreen shrub belonging to the family Menispermaceae in the angiosperm phylum. Its Latin name is recorded differently in different classification systems, and there are two naming systems for Schaueria flavicoma and Justicia croceochlamys Leonard. The sepal lobes of this plant are as slender as hair strands, densely arranged to form feather like structures, with white small flowers half hidden in between, presenting a unique ornamental feature.
