| Wusi Tuya Danxia Geopark, also known as Water-based Danxia, is located in the heart of the Qaidam Basin. It consists of Danxia landforms and Duck Lake. Duck Lake features many stones and earthen hills protruding above the water surface. These earthen hills, formed over millions of years, were raised from the lakebed through geological movements and then solidified by salt and sand into the crust. They come in various shapes and colors, creating the world's largest and most typical Danxia landscape, attracting numerous tourists every summer. |
