Pictured is an engraving for the honor of Eagle Plaza, part of the John D. Murchison Scouting Center. The engraving is on the stone base of the bronze statue of an eagle in Eagle Plaza, and states that the plaza is in honor of the scoutmasters, parents and guardians who helped guide eagle scouts toward worthy manhood. The Center is the headquarters building for Circle 10 Council of the Boy Scouts of the USA in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1913 and based in Dallas, approximately 50,000 youth and 15,000 adults participate in Scouting through the council each year.
