Lake Santa Croce is a natural lake whose basin was artificially expanded in the 1930s located in the province of Belluno, in the Alpago area, bordering the province of Treviso. The main emissaries of the lake are to the north the Celline Canal, which collects the waters of the Piave River in Soverzene, and the Tesa stream; the lake has only one emissary, the Rai stream that serves as a safety in case of flooding of the lake and flows into the Piave in the resort Cadola di Ponte in the Alps.
