| Schalkenmehrener Maar is a caldera lake (Maar in German) at the village Schalkenmehren near Daun in the Eifel. The volcanic landscape with several hills and valley has many of these volcano lakes (Maare). This is one of three lakes forming the Dauner Maar, the three really close caldera lakes. |
