These are the ruins of incomplete and abandoned project of the Nawabs or Nebobs as pronounced by Europeans, of Awadh at Lucknow. The tower was proposed to be a seven storied structure - therefore the name Satkhanda. Mark that arches on different stories are of different architectural genres
