Signal of the Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara, in the south west Sardinia. This route dedicated to the patron saint of miners, spread along a 388 km ring in the mining region of Sulcis Iglesiente Guspinese. It is divided into 24 routes that can be reached by walking along paths, carrareccie, tracks, and mule tracks that Sardinian miners have covered in 8000 years of mining history. Along the way you can admire ancient archaeological sites, abandoned mining plants and the many historic churches that miners dedicated to Santa Barbara.
