The Italica Amphitheater is located in the town of Santiponce in the province of Seville, Andalusia, Spain.

The Italica amphitheater was built in the north of the first Roman city in Hispania, Italica, located in the present-day municipality of Santiponce (province of Seville), in Andalusia (Spain). It was founded in 206 BC.With a capacity of 25,000 spectators and total dimensions of 160 x 124 m, it had three tiers of seating. Below the level of the amphitheater's old wooden floor was a service pit for the various gladiatorial spectacles, called munus gladiatorum, and fights against wild beasts, called venationes.
