This is a picture of a Christmas display window in Chicago, Illinois. In 1897 the Display Manager at Marshall Field's Department Store Arthur Fraiser pioneered window design with his Christmas Display that has become an annual tradition ever since. After World War II the seven windows of Marshall Field's began to tell a Christmas story each year. The store was aquired by Macy's on August 30, 2005 and this location has continued the holiday tradition. This picture was taken on December 1, 2014.
