| MUNI is the public transportation system that operates within San Francisco,operating both busses and subways. Five separate lines going to different parts of the city run underneath Market Street to reduce street level congestion,with the BART,the system connecting all of the Bay Area by subway,below the Metro system,but they share stations along Market Street. Although MUNI operates seven stations underneath Market street,only the five stations between Civic Center and Embarcadero are shared with BART. As seen 3 February 2018. |
