| This, the third location for San Francisco`s Polytechnic High School, which opened in 1915. The school had a boys gym on one side, the girls gym on the other side, which opened later. Between declining enrollment, and not being up to code for earthquake safety, it was decided to close the school, which was torn down. Only the two gyms remain. This one, the girls gym, is now used for sports and athletic trainings for youths. |
