| Sign announcing the location of Salvation Mountain. The sign has the name Salvation Mountain as well as `God Never Fails` on the top of the sign. Salvation Mountain is a tribute to God and was created by Leonard Knight as a gift to the work expressing the statement, `God is love` boldly painted at the top of the mountain. The mountain is 50 feet high and 150 feet wide and is made totally of local adobe clay and donated paint. The mountain is located near Slab City in Imperial County, California, several miles from the Salton Sea. |
