| Many people say this is the most beautiful example of a building from the Romanesque period in Germany. Founded in 1033 AD it is nearly a thousand years old but has only been completed in the 19th century. If you compare the people in the street with the cathedral you get a feeling of its huge dimensions. The Salian emperors are burried in a vault there. |
