The Salesforce tower, as it is now known, opened in January 2018 and is now San Francisco`s tallest building, the second tallest on the whole west coast. Built on landfill, as this part of the city was originally part of the waterfront, special foundations were used. In all, it has 61 floors, reaching 1,070 feet, 326m. It will be topped with a nine- story electronic sculpture that you can really see and enjoy dancing at night, by local artist Jim Campbell. It will also be the tallest public art piece in the world. As enjoyed the night of 19 September 2018.
