Salakovac is a village in the municipality of Malo Crniće, Serbia. According to the 2002 census, the village has a population of 768 people.According to official results of the 2011 census, the city has a population of 64,105, and 108,209 people live in its administrative area. Its history starts in the 1st century BC, with the conquerings of the Roman Empire, when there existed a town called Vinceia. The modern city traces its roots back to the late Middle Ages when it was the capital 1430àƒÆ’à‚¢àƒÂ¢ââ‚¬Š¡à‚¬àƒÂ¢â‚¬Šâ€œ39, and 1444àƒÆ’à‚¢àƒÂ¢ââ‚¬Š¡à‚¬àƒÂ¢â‚¬Šâ€œ59 of the last independent Serbian state before the Ottoman conquest.
