Popular tourist cultural monument of the capital of Saint Lucia-the residence of the Governor-General of the island and the head of the local government. The house was built in 1895 on the famous town hill of Morne fortune, and its crown is clearly visible from all areas of Castries. This is one of the few buildings in the Victorian style, preserved on the island. Part of the building is reserved for the Royal Museum La Pavilion Royal Museum. In addition to the openwork crown, the building is decorated with the Royal coat of arms.
