| The saguaro blossom is the state flower of Arizona. Each spring the saguaro cactus displays bright white flowers on the tips of the arms that reach out. Some saguaros may display hundreds of flowers while other display very few. It is one of the most unique state flowers in that it opens at night and lives just a few days before dying and falling to the ground. |
