| Sachs covered bridge also called Waterworks Bridge in Adams County, Pennsylvania, was known as Sauches Covered Bridge during the time of the Battle of Gettysburg is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Around the time of the battle of Gettysburg July 1863 during the American Civil War both Confederate and Union armies used this bridge. It is reputed to be haunted from that time. The lattice bridge style of truss bridge spans the Marsh Creek. |
