| Following their basketball game Rutgers and Tennessee women basketball players link arms at the Rutgers Athletic Center in Piscataway, New Jersey, on December 12, 2013. In 2007 these schools played in the NCAA national championship game. The Lady Vols won that battle and this one as well. Both teams were coached by Hall of Famers; Pat Summitt for Tennessee and C. Vivian Stringer for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Summit retired in 2012 and died from Alzheimer`s 4 years later at the age of 64. |
