| Ruins of Leiston Abbey in Suffolk - medieval abbey and accompanying medieval house, still in use. Considerable amount of stone walls still remains from this place of worship, although it needs conservation and preservation. Located on the outskirts of Leiston Town in the east of England. Glass in the windows has long been broken. There is some brickwork as well as stonework in the building. The places dates back to 12th century. There is some Georgian architecture in the main house. |
