| The Prussian Fort Asterstein is located in Koblenz east of the Rhine and the origin of the name for one city area. The military fortress was built from the 1820s to the 1920s. It was part of the fortress systems in Koblenz. The remains are now a memorial and kept in the ruin shape, but still plants cover the roofs. |
