| Rose zephyr lily (Zephyranthes rosea) commonly known as the Cuban zephyr lily, rose fairy lily, Rain lily pink or the pink rain lily, is a species of rain lily native to Peru and Colombia. They are widely cultivated as ornamental plants and have become naturalized in tropical regions worldwide. Like all rain lilies, they are known for blooming only after heavy rains and contain potentially lethal toxins. It is often confused with Zephyranthes carinata which has much larger flowers and deeper pink coloration. |
