Death with a scythe in his hand, painted on the back of the door at the entrance to the wooden church from Botiza. The wooden church from Botiza, Maramureș County, was built in 1699 in Vişeul de Jos at the request of the nobleman Ștefan Pop. The church was transferred in 1899 to Botiza where it replaced an old wooden church from the end of the 16th century. The church is dedicated to Saint Paraschiva and is on the list of historical monuments. On the outside, the most notable are the frame of the entrance door, where the decorations of the Maramures gates can be found, and the woven, carved rope that surrounds the church.
