Thür is a small village in the Eifel with a nature reserve swampland at the village, the Thürer Wiesen. The main road between Mayen and Andernach crosses this valley in the Vulkaneifel. In winter the swampland shows a big difference in colors, according to temperatures around zero some parts freeze other stay warm from below
