| Cuacos de Yuste is a little village in the Spanish Extremadura. Inhabitants are drying their harvested chili peppers on the balcony in the sun. Chili peppers are considered fruit, not vegetables and are members of the nightshade or Solanaceae family. They are related to tomatoes, cherries and eggplant, originated in South America, but are now grown around the world because they are used as spices or as medicine. |
