| Red farmhouses on Holdoya Island and snow covered mountains from the island of Hinnøya on way to the Lofoten in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The Austerstraumen (196m) and Vesterstraumen (305m) bridges carry the E10 road across the Ãksfjord in the Lofoten Islands of northern Norway. They form part of the 'Lofast' project to connect Lofoten to the mainland with no need for ferry crossings. These classic composite bridges were opened to traffic in 2007. |
