Tbilisi, Georgia - May 20, 2018: The Central Mosque is the sole remaining mosque serving Georgian Sunni and Shia Muslims. Located at one end of the Botanical Gardens it was first constructed by the Ottoman Turks in the 1700s. However, this incarnation is the third one as the building has been destroyed a few times. The minaret is eight sided and unique.
