| Ahr valley is a wine region in the north of the Eifel at the edge of Rhineland-Palatinate. In 2021 the Ahrtal was struck by a huge flood with massive destruction. This picture shows the Ahr valley a year before with everything still in good shape. The autumn colors of the vineyards have the valley a warm color scheme with bright autumn colors of an Eifel version of Indian Summer. The Ahrwein grows in the plains and the hills as a Steillage vineyard. |
