The Preah Sihanouk `Ream` National Park is around 30 km from Sihanoukville, on the way back to Phnom Penh. It was established in the early 1990s to protect its threatened areas. Ream Park is one of the seven national parks in the country. It encompasses over 15,000 hectares with mangrove forests, tropical jungles, and more then 150 bird species.
