Rattenberg is an Austrian town, known for its glass making, on the Inn River, near Rattenberg mountain and Innsbruck. Founded in the 14th century, it was built in the literal shadow of Rat Mountain to protect itself from marauders. The Südtirolerstrasse ends at a cosy square with terraces.
