| A springtime cloudy view of an entrance to the very rare wooden evangelical church located in Lestiny village, Orava region, northern Slovakia. This masterpiece of sacral architecture was build in 1688 without use of any nails! Church in Lestiny is declared as national cultural heritage of Slovak republic and since 2008 it is inscribed in the UNESCO list too. Even today, after many centuries it still serves for religious purposes of the local Evangelical church. Tourists are also welcome to visit it with local guide, upon request. |
