Jaipur, India, October 13, 2021: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot with his wife Sunita Gehlot, family members, ministers and other dignitaries offers prayers to Goddess Durga at Jagdamba Mata on the occasion of `Maha Ashtami` during Navratri festival in Jaipur. Navratri festival marks the victory of Goddess Durga over the evil buffalo demon Mahishasura. Thus, Durga Puja festival epitomises the victory of Good over Evil in Hindu mythology, culminates in the immersion of idols in bodies of water. The festival will continue till October 15.
