| Ali Haji bin Raja Haji Ahmad or the short Raja Ali Haji, is a poet, ulema, and royal of Lingga Sultanate of Riau Island Sumatera Indonesia. He compiles and composes the rules to what become Bahasa Melayu or Melayu Language that would become present Indonesian Language. He also compiled Melayu Language dictionary, essays on melayu politics, royalship and almanac. He is one of the Indonesian National Hero. |
