| Rainbow Falls in Golden Gate Park is found along JFK Drive just East of Crossover Drive. The falls are a 50 foot drop to the lake below, then flow West, going under the Crossover Drive bridge before flowing into Lloyd Lake, before being pumped back to the top of the falls by a series of underground pipes. When first opened, in 1930, there was a series of submerged, colored lights, which gave the falls its name, Rainbow Falls. |
