At one time the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway was the world`s most famous transportation company. In 1948 Fortune magazine named it the Nation`s Number One Railroad. Steam engine 52 was named `Canon City` and the engine was were built by Baldwin in 1872 through 1897. Engine 52 was retired before 1898. This is a miniature model of the actual engine. |
