| Set on the Paseo de la Princesa, the Fuente RaÃÂces commemorates the 500th year anniversary of the founding of San Juan. The fountain depicts bronze gods and goddesses of TaÃÂno, European and African descent, some riding horses and dolphins, as water shoots over them. It`s meant to represent the racial and ethnic roots of the Puerto Rican people of today. Facing west, this is a popular spot to watch the sunset over the bay. |
